Watson Martial Arts had a very busy and successful weekend, showcasing talent in several of the combat arts! First, we sent several grapplers to the well-run Fuji BJJ tournament here in St. Louis. Our competitors brought home a lot of hardware with special mention to Josh Mckinney for winning the title belt in his brown belt division!
Then we sent a couple of talented strikers (Edwin Rowe and Jimmy Timmerberg) to the Thai Boxing Association tournament in Iowa. Both fighters displayed awesome technique and demonstrated the strength of our Muay Thai program!
Finally, Colin Parr improved to 5-1 in MMA with a dominating 23 second armbar at Shamrock FC!
We appreciate all of our athletes challenging themselves and helping to make Watson Martial Arts a highly respected academy. A big thanks goes out to all the coaches who took time out of their weekend to help out as well!
