Watson Martial Arts once again had a busy and successful weekend, demonstrating our skills at three different events and three different combat sports!! Friday night Edwin Rowe and Alejandro Socorro displayed impressive striking in their K-1 bouts at Gateway Fighting Series. Then, Saturday several of our grapplers tested themselves at the local FUJI BJJ tournament. Our competitors brought home quite a bit of hardware but notable mention goes to Tom Kavanaugh. He dominantly won both his gi and no-gi divisions, and was promoted to blue belt on the podium. Lastly, Micheal Offor won a hard fought submission victory on Shamrock FC that same night. Congrats to everyone who tested themselves and represented our gym! We are proud of your hard work and dedication. Thanks also to our coaches! It can be quite the juggling act sometimes!
