Muay Thai Kickboxing is a combat sport, originating in Thailand, that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. While there are different forms of kickboxing, this particular style is commonly referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs.” Muay Thai utilizes punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight points of contact, as opposed to standard boxing, which only uses two (the fists). Muay Thai Kickboxing is a very versatile system that is widely used in combat sports such as MMA. In addition, this discipline is a fantastic workout as well as having practical application for self-defense.
